Cookie Policy
The full list of cookies used on SAT Courses: what each one does, how long it stays, and how to switch it off.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser when you visit a site. On your next visit the site reads it to remember you — for example to keep you signed in.
Cookies we use
| Cookie | Provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sb-…-auth-token | Supabase | Essential | Carries a signed-in student's session. Without it the dashboard and the exam screen cannot work. | Session + 1 year |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Measures which pages get visited, in aggregate. Not used to identify you personally. | Up to 2 years |
| __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Stripe | Essential | Runs fraud checks on the payment page. Loaded only during checkout. | 1 day – 1 year |
We do not use advertising cookies
There is no third-party ad network, no remarketing pixel and no cookie that follows you across sites. The table above is complete.
How to turn cookies off
You can block cookies entirely or per-site from your browser's privacy settings. Turning off analytics cookies changes nothing for you; blocking the essential ones means you cannot sign in or open the exam screen.
